Pitch Privacy Policy

Who we are: Pitch Corporations LLC, a Utah company ("Pitch," "we," "us"). Contact: team@usepitch.app.

We build software and a wearable microphone that record and score sales conversations so companies can coach their reps. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.

1. Who this applies to

• Reps who use the Pitch app and mic (through their employer).
• Managers and admins who use the Pitch dashboard.
• Visitors to our website.

If you're a customer of a company that uses Pitch (for example, a homeowner who talked to a rep at your door), see Section 9.

2. What we collect

Account info — name, email, phone number, company, team, role.

Audio recordings — conversations captured by the Pitch mic during work. These include the rep's voice and the voices of people they talk to.

Transcripts and scores — text versions of recordings, plus the scores, feedback, and coaching we generate from them.

Location — the phone's GPS position at the time a recording is made. We use it to tell doors apart, link return visits, and understand territories. We don't track location when you're not recording.

Device and usage data — device type, app version, crash logs, which screens you use.

Outcome data — sales results, as entered by reps or synced from the company's other systems.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not create voiceprints or use audio to identify people by their voice.
• We do not use recordings for advertising.
• We do not record outside of work use of the device.

4. Why we collect it

• To score pitches and generate coaching for reps.
• To give managers team analytics and dashboards.
• To link recordings to the right door, rep, and outcome.
• To keep the service secure and fix bugs.
• To improve our product. When we do this, we use de-identified data — names, company identifiers, and anything tying audio to a specific person are removed first.

5. Who we share it with

• The company you work for. Your employer is the customer. They own the business data (recordings, scores, outcomes) and can see it as described in your Rep Consent Form.
• Service providers that help us run Pitch — cloud hosting, transcription, and AI processing. They can only use data to provide their service to us and are bound by confidentiality. Recordings and transcripts are sent to outside AI services for transcription and analysis; the services in use right now are listed in the Pitch app under Account → What's recorded and why, and that list is updated whenever we change providers.
• Legal reasons — if the law requires it, or to protect safety and rights.
• A business transfer — if Pitch is acquired, data may move with it under this same policy.

6. How long we keep it

• Audio: 90 days by default, then deleted. Companies can choose a different window.
• Transcripts, scores, and outcomes: as long as the company's account is active.
• Account info: as long as your account exists.
• On request from the company, we delete data within 30 days.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited by role — a rep sees their own data, a manager sees their team, and Pitch staff only access data when needed to provide support.

8. Your rights

• See it. You can listen to your own recordings and see your own scores in the app.
• Correct it. Ask us or your company to fix wrong account info.
• Delete your account. You can delete your account yourself in the Pitch app under Account → Delete account. That removes your login and your name, email and phone number right away, and you can't sign back in to that account. The work you already did — recordings, transcripts, scores and stats — stays with your company without your name on it, the same way your other work records do, and audio is still deleted on the normal schedule in Section 6.
• Delete other data. Requests to delete business data (recordings, scores, outcomes) go through your company, since they own it. We'll honor them.
• Flag private moments. If the mic caught something personal, flag it in the app and it's hidden from managers immediately.
• California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and the right to request deletion. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of. Email us to exercise any right.

9. If you talked to a rep who uses Pitch

Companies that use Pitch are responsible for following the recording laws where they operate, including telling you when required. Recordings of these conversations belong to that company. If you have a question or want a recording deleted, contact the company directly, or email us and we'll route it.

10. Children

Pitch is for working adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll notify users in the app and update the date at the top.
